Svi Dubrovčani koji hode po prostoru kojim vladam trgujući mogu gdje hoće biti, gdje hoće prolaziti, pravom vjerom i pravim srcem držaću ih bez ikakve naknade, osim ako mi ko da svojom voljom na poklon. I da im ne bude od mojih časnika nasilja, i dok kod mene budu daću im savjet i pomoć kao i sebi koliko je moguće, bez ikakve zle primisli. Tako mi Bože pomozi i ovo sveto jevanđelje.
